Commencement of Course

As my first post I feel that I should start by posting a few images;

The aim of running this Blog is to record my progress through the Open College of the Arts course; Photography 3: Your Own Portfolio. It will act as a record of my learning from this stage up to the end of the course. I plan to include information about the projects that I have to undertake during the course, articles of interest to me, descriptions of any exhibitions I may visit, reviews of any photography books read during the course, and anything that I may consider of interest or relevant to my learning.

I will add some images taken during the course. Some maybe directly related to the Major Project that has to be undertaken and some may just be interesting subjects that I have photographed. I enjoy experimenting with Photoshop and Lightroom so I may add some of these experiments if I find the results to be worth sharing.

The first Assignment includes a single project of three images, an article on photographic theory (I've already started this and will upload the final version on 'colour theory' once it's finished), and finally I have to propose the theme of my 'Major Project'. I'm planning on doing something based on street photography in Bangkok, but will wait for my tutor's comments before I post the details here.
