Project 2

I'm still working on this project, but decided to add a few attempts at catching accents.

This image is the most obvious accent I've been able to capture for this project. As the kite surfer was moving to the right I've placed him slightly to the left of center so the viewer can see where he's heading and this also conveniently placed the sail in the upper left section of the image.

This less obvious accent is quite appealing in that the shape of the flower partially hidden by the mangrove is similar to the shaded water tank lid. The eye flicks back and forth between the two before resting on the flower.

This accent is very subtle, but still shows that even with such an accent in the image, it holds the attention greater than any other part of the image.

In this image there are several accents and one might be drawn into considering what they are even more than what the main image consists of.

The eye is drawn down to this accent with the help of the strong vertical shape of the tree.
