The first three images below show a foreground and background clearly seperated from each other.

This image is of two palm trees.

The next set of images are slightly more complicated with a foreground, middle ground and background. The sence of depth is far greater in this set than the above foreground and background images.

These three mountain scenes are from Nepal during a recent trekking holiday.

These two urban scenes are from downtown Bangkok. The first one is an old private house with large garden and modern city towers in the background.

Here the old makes way for the new.
