In this sequence of images I wanted to show that the street vendors that I was photographing actually had to wheel their carts and merchandise to their chosen location each morning.
I spotted these two vendors wheeling their carts along a busy road and started to photograph them.
Two
It was quite difficult because I was on the opposite side of the road and the traffic was heavy so I had to time the shots between the passing traffic.
Three
I had decided at this point that the fruit vendor was the most interesting of the two vendors and that capturing two together was not going to be possible because of the distance between them.
Four
At this point the fruit vendor stopped for a rest and noticed that I was taking photographs of him. Instead of being annoyed he looked quite jolly and was probably interested to know why a foreigner was showing so much interest. I liked the combination of verticals and circles in this image and with a little cropping of the right hand side it came out the best and is my decisive moment.
Five
The vendors having rested for less than a minute continued on their way.
Six
The order of prefernce in this sequence that achived my goals is Four, Six, Three, Five, Two and One
